What Should You Expect
At King Chiropractic in King, North Carolina, our practitioner will ask you your complete and comprehensive health history, including past health problems, diet, exercise, occupation, and other important information.
Since patterns of spinal misalignment tend to run in families, you will be asked questions about your family that may help Dr. Moles with your particular case.
The examination may include palpation (examination by touch) of your spinal column, assessment of a range of motion, muscle testing, neurological analysis, orthopedic exam, and specific chiropractic
tests.
The care you receive will be specifically designed for you based on your history of traumas, your age, and your degree and levels of subluxations, as revealed through your examination and any previous x-ray findings.
Upon visiting our clinic, please bring with you any test results you've received within the past 3-6 months, such as x-rays, MRIs, etc. and any reports.
Be prepared to discuss several topics, such as when the problem started; how it began; how long you’ve had it; what makes the problem worse or better; your history of injuries and traumas; and any other information you believe is relevant.
Your progress will be carefully monitored under chiropractic care and will be modified to meet your changing conditions. Dr. Moles's goal is to return you to optimal health through natural chiropractic care.

How long before I start to feel better?
Many feel better after one treatment. Some have conditions that have been progressing for many many years and require additional treatment time.
Can you prescribe any pain medication?
No, Chiropractic is the largest natural healing profession in the world. We believe in natural homeopathic remedies. Though pain medication can help, it usually just covers up the pain instead of finding and fixing the problem.
Will this hurt?
We use light force adjustment techniques. Sometimes there will be local tenderness, but most cases are pain-free.
How much will this cost me?
Many times the cost to the patient is minimal or no out-of-pocket according to the plan or type of insurance. King Chiropractic is on most HMO and PPO plans, including, but not limited to: all BCBS, Medcost, United Healthcare, State Health Plans, Cigna, Medicare, and Medicaid. We also handle personal injury cases as well as worker’s compensation.
What kind of education do chiropractors have?
Chiropractic education consists of 2-4 years of pre-med studies and 5 years of Chiropractic College. Chiropractic College consists of numerous hours of anatomy, physiology, neurology, pathology, and many of the same courses required by the medical professions.
